Senior Paediatric Liaison Mental Health Practitioner Core 13 role at Frimley Park Hospital (FPH) with a 13-hour service model (9am–10pm, 7 days a week). The post supports children and young people’s mental health needs, provides clinical leadership and supervision within the PLN team, and reports to the General Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist as part of your development.
The CYPS Paediatric Liaison Service at FPH ensures timely assessment and discharge planning for CYP presenting to the Emergency Department with mental health and emotional issues. The post holder will comprehensively assess, plan care, facilitate safe discharge with CYP and carers, and collaborate with ED Paediatric colleagues and CYP services and agencies.
Engagement and rostering: you will be part of a rota to cover the hours of operation for Core 13.
