Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in Canterbury is recruiting for a full-time Haematology post (10 PA). The role is predominantly based at Kent and Canterbury Hospital with one day per week at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital.

The post involves three outpatient clinics weekly, on-call duties for Haemostasis, and MDT participation. It includes training rotational Haematology trainees and ongoing clinical governance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Evidence diagnosing and treating children and adults with benign haematological conditions
• Experience in clinical haemostasis and thrombosis
• Evidence of laboratory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care as appropriate and participate in multiple clinics per week
• Attend weekly MDT meetings and Haemostasis on-call rota participation
• Provide clinical interpretation of haematological tests and support Haematology laboratories

GMC registration with licence to practise

CCT in paediatric haematology or near completion
