Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Lead Nurse for Education to shape and deliver the West London Children’s Healthcare (WLCH) Nursing Education Strategy across the trust’s paediatric services. The role combines strategic leadership with operational management of the Paediatric Clinical Education Team.

You will work with clinical leaders, Higher Education Institutions and education partners to develop the current and future paediatric nursing

Qualifications

Senior nursing leader with a track record in paediatric education.
Experience delivering education strategy and workforce development.
Ability to collaborate with clinical leaders and education partners.

Responsibilities

Lead the WLCH Nursing Education Strategy and education programme aligned to priorities.
Provide leadership to the Paediatric Clinical Education Team across WLCH.
Oversee induction, preceptorship, CPD, career pathways and talent development.
Oversee pre- and post-registration education with HEIs for high-quality placements.
Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify education needs and improve practice.
Translate incidents, audits and quality improvements into education.
Champion innovative education approaches including simulation and digital learning.
