Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Highly Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join the Metabolic Dietetic Service and paediatric dietetic services at North Manchester General Hospital. This fixed-term Band 7 post will provide specialist care across inpatient, outpatient and community pathways, delivering expert nutrition care for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Substantial post-registration dietetic experience.
• Advanced knowledge of paediatric nutrition and growth assessment.
• Experience in inherited metabolic disorders or highly specialised paediatric services.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist dietetic assessment, treatment and monitoring.
• Manage a complex paediatric caseload across inpatient, outpatient and community pathways.
• Interpret complex clinical and biochemical information to guide nutrition care.
• Lead and contribute to audits, QI activities and research.
• Develop and review clinical guidelines and patient resources.
• Work across multiple hospital sites to support service delivery.
