Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist to join the Cardiac Rhythm Management team in London. You will lead independent device follow‑ups for pacemakers, ICDs and CRTs, and participate in catheter lab work, with opportunities to develop in a paediatric and congenital heart disease service.

Qualifications

• Independent practice for brady device follow up.
• Independent practice in pacemaker implant.
• Good knowledge of congenital and inherited cardiac conditions.
• Independent practice for tachy devices inc. ICDs and CRTs.
• Independent practice in the cardiac catheter lab.

Responsibilities

• Independent practice in brady device follow up and implantable loop recorders.
• Independent practice for ICDs and CRTs follow up.
• Set‑up of the catheter lab and associated equipment.
• Support device implant procedures where required.
• Work within the on‑call service for devices and catheter lab procedures.
