We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with expertise in cardiac devices, arrhythmia management and cardiac catheter laboratory procedures to contribute to a highly specialised paediatric and congenital heart disease service.
The successful candidate will be able to independently undertake pacemaker, ICD and CRT follow-up clinics, including device interrogation, troubleshooting, reprogramming and escalation of complex findings when required. Experience in supporting device implant procedures and working within the cardiac catheter laboratory, or a willingness to work towards independent competency in these areas, is essential.
While paediatric cardiology differs from adult practice, what is most important is a solid foundation in cardiac physiology, a willingness to learn, and the drive to develop within a specialist service. With the right underpinning knowledge, curiosity and commitment, you will be well supported to build your expertise and thrive in this rewarding and challenging environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team, caring for children and young people with congenital, inherited and acquired heart conditions
