Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to join the Community Paediatric Audiology Assessment Service in Leicester. You will provide diagnostic hearing assessments for children aged 6 months to 19 years across community clinics.

The role requires independence, strong communication with families, and travel across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• Recent postgraduate experience in paediatric hearing assessment.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Access to own vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Lead diagnostic clinics and assess hearing of children aged 6 months to 19 years using specialist techniques.
• Work autonomously, following national/local protocols and be accountable for own work.
• Lead review clinics for confirmed hearing loss and manage referral/monitoring decisions.
• Demonstrate highly specialist paediatric skills with very young children or those with complex needs.
• Participate in audit and research projects to advance clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and referrals in line with standards.
