Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paediatric Audiologist for a permanent band 6 Senior Specialist Audiologist role.
We are an IQIPS accredited department and strive to deliver a high quality service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to perform and continue to develop the excellent standards of Audiology care .
You need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to actively support the service in delivering a high-quality patient's care.
You must have experience in the management of complex and non-routine case load in the specialist areas of paediatric audiology. This includes working with patients and families, and working with a multidisciplinary team.
This role involves highly specialist patient care. All such care will be provided in an effective, caring and compassionate service to patients. The post holder is required to abide by the NHS values and the Constitution.
Main duties of the job
- Perform diagnostic hearing assessment on children from 6 months up to 25 years of age and analyse the results (in line with national and local protocols), including:
- Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA)
