A bit about us

Beavertown began life 11 years ago in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

Now, we’re happily brewing loads of great beer - for everyone to enjoy - anywhere in the universe...although tastes best when drank on Earth. So, if you’re after some tasty beer with a difference you’ve come to the right place.

The role

Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll ensure that our Out Of This World beers are quickly and safely canned and kegged?

Our Beaverworld site in Ponders End is our most advanced brewery and our fully automated lines run at 30,000 cans per hour / 240 kegs per hour which means that you’ll work on a rotational shift basis. The shifts currently include early shifts (06.00-15.00), day shifts (07:00-16.00) and late shifts (13.00-22.00). Rotational shifts can be subject to change as they depend on production volume.

You’ll get some exposure to the other departments within the business (Primarily Brewing, Quality and Warehouse / Logistics) and get the chance to work with people working in those teams.

In this role, you’ll receive all the training you need in house with the aim that you’re able to progress within the department and the business.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Set up, operate and close production lines
  2. Operate automated machinery
  3. Troubleshoot production and quality issues
  4. Ensure the final product meets specification
  5. Perform pack integrity checks
  6. Set up and conduct CIPs
  7. Move pallets, packaging, and product
  8. Some heavy lifting involved
  9. Carry out maintenance, hygiene, and cleanliness duties

What you’ll bring to us

  1. Previous experience working in a brewery
  2. Experience working with and fixing technical equipment and machinery in a brewery
  3. Easily able to identify issues and effectively solve them
  4. Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programmes, especially Excel
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  6. Strong record keeping abilities
  7. Able to work logically and systematically
  8. The ability to focus on accuracy and strong attention to detail
  9. Ability to be constantly mobile and carry out physical manual tasks
  10. Can do attitude with a positive outlook
  11. A passion for the industry and our brand!

What’s in it for you

  1. Discounts on Beavertown beer and goodies
  2. Discretionary bonus
  3. 25 days annual leave (plus another day off to celebrate your birthday!) + 5 bank holidays to be taken anytime during the year with Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years all given off as well for a total of 34 days
  4. 2 days off every year for volunteering
  5. Company pension
  6. Team and company social events including monthly lunch

We'll be in touch with you within 2 weeks of your application if you've been successful at securing an interview!
