Job description

My client is seeking a Senior Packaging Operator to join a fast-growing, innovative company specialising in premium alcohol-free beverages. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in packaging operations while contributing to the development of operational improvements.


Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in operating and maintaining the bottling and canning lines, including alternating between shift supervisor and support roles.
  2. Follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety protocols to ensure packaging quality and cleanliness.
  3. Analyse performance metrics of the packaging lines and propose efficiency improvements in collaboration with the Packaging Lead and Head of Production.
  4. Support the fermentation and filtration teams and assist in warehouse operations during packaging runs.

Requirements:
  1. Several years of experience in packaging, preferably in the food or beverage industry, with experience in bottling or canning processes.
  2. A hands-on, mechanical approach to problem-solving and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
  3. Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a strong ability to adapt and thrive.
  4. A proactive and team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative and contribute positively to a dynamic team.
