About the Role...

We have an opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide precise and timely live data for all South American and Japanese racing services. In this key role, you will collaborate with suppliers, colleagues, and customers to guarantee the accuracy and timely delivery of content and services from PA.

Your role will extend beyond data provision; you will also play a crucial part in training, support, and resource planning and take charge of service escalation between 10pm and 8am, ensuring the reliability of our operations.

Shift Pattern: 5x 8hr shifts between 10pm and 10am, Mon-Sun depending on scheduling requirements – this role can be performed remotely.

What you will be doing...

• Pre-Race Operations: Manage pre-race data collection, preparation, and distribution efficiently.
• Live Betting and Results Processing: Handle live betting and results processing for overnight racing services.
• Customer Interaction: Respond to Racing Customer Services and customer queries professionally and flexibly.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with third-party suppliers and data providers for seamless collaboration.
• Live Data Management: Communicate all live data issues promptly to Shift Leaders and Operations Manager.
• Customer Impact Awareness: Prioritize the escalation of live data errors considering downstream customer impact.
• Escalation Leadership (10pm-8am): Lead escalation processes during critical hours, ensuring issues are escalated per procedures. Provide detailed incident reports and summaries to Shift Leaders & Operations Manager.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate to continually improve service-related processes and procedures.
• Training and Onboarding: Support training and onboarding of new and current staff.
• Horse Racing Coordination: Oversee horse racing coordination activities, including data validation, liaising with data providers, and supporting colleagues.

Candidates should understand key betting concepts, demonstrate the ability to form and maintain betting markets, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong self-organisation, prioritisation skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Flexibility to work a demanding 24/7 schedule is required.
