Job summary

Gravita is a fast-growing, tech-enabled accounting partner for SMEs, offering a hybrid work model and strong development support. As a Senior Associate in Outsourced Finance, you will prepare VAT returns and management accounts, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality financial services and maintain solid client relationships.

Qualifications

• A professional accountancy qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
• Proficiency in Xero and Excel; experience with Dext, Silverfin or Syft is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact confidently with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of management accounts, collaborating with offshore partners as necessary.
• Support the allocation of tasks within the team and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing queries and providing timely solutions.
• Participate in cash flow forecasting projects, offering insights to aid in financial planning.
