Job Description:
A well-established challenger bank are seeking a Senior Outcomes Testing Specialist to lead the development and execution of Consumer Duty outcomes testing across their business. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional from a smaller, fast-paced organisation who is comfortable operating with autonomy and driving results. This is a strategic and hands-on position where your expertise will directly influence the way the company assesses, assures, and evidences good customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive outcomes testing framework aligned with Consumer Duty requirements.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to demonstrate both customer benefit and regulatory compliance.
- Lead collaboration across compliance, risk, operations, and product teams to embed testing into core processes.
- Oversee effective data gathering, analysis, and reporting to ensure meaningful outcomes assessments.
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments and continuously refine testing approaches based on feedback and evolving standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing and executing Consumer Duty outcomes testing, ideally within regulated financial services.
- Background in smaller or lean organisations where adaptability, ownership, and initiative are essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Consumer Duty principles and their application in a commercial environment.
- Strong analytical skills – able to convert complex data into meaningful insights.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly outcome-focused.
- Background in compliance, risk, audit, or customer experience within financial services.
- Practical experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with FCA expectations and best practices in regulatory compliance.
