Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 6 Occupational Therapist for the Salford Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT). The role focuses on delivering specialised OT assessments and interventions in patients' homes and community settings, to support recovery and independence.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable experience of working as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
• Providing Occupational Therapy in a mental health setting.
• Using a variety of Occupational vocational assessments.
• Identifying barriers to goal achievement.
• Planning and carrying out evidence based interventions.
• Experience of working in a range of mental health settings.
• Experience of working in a community setting.
• Experience of supervising support staff.

Aufgaben

• Provide functional and cognitive OT assessments in service users' home environments.
• Manage a designated caseload with OT assessments and interventions.
• Use recovery-focused, person-centred plans to evaluate and adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with service users, carers, and other healthcare providers.
• Lead on identifying rehabilitation needs within MDT meetings.
• Participate in duty rota.
• Provide professional advice for junior staff and students.
• Contribute to OT pathway development within HBTT and Listening Lounge/Hollybank services.
