Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust offers a full-time Band 6 OT role within the Salford Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT). The post focuses on delivering high-quality, recovery-focused occupational therapy in people’s homes and community settings, in a multidisciplinary team, with responsibility for assessments, interventions and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and cognitive OT assessments in home environments.
• Maintain a designated caseload with OT assessments and interventions.
• Plan, implement and evaluate recovery-focused OT interventions.
• Collaborate with service users, carers and other healthcare providers.
• Lead rehabilitation needs and goals within MDT meetings.
• Participate in duty rota and supervise students on placement.
• Support OT pathway development within HBTT and Listening Lounge/Hollybank.
• Conform to RCOT standards and ethics.
