A healthcare provider in Tasmania is seeking an Orthotist Prosthetist for Launceston General Hospital. This full-time role involves managing orthotic services for inpatient and rehabilitation sites, local leadership, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a salary range from $110,425 to $121,907 per annum plus benefits such as professional development. Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.
The Team:
You will be based at Launceston General Hospital, working directly with a team of 7. In a hospital setting means strong relationships between the multidisciplinary team whom we work alongside and contribute to an outstanding inpatient and outpatient service. Together with the wider Tasmanian Orthotics and Prosthetic Service, you will be offered support and guidance from an internationally experienced team from Hobart and the state’s North West.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 20 October 2026.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$110,425 to $121,907 per annum.Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Tertiary qualifications in Orthotics and Prosthetics, and evidence of eligibility of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association
Current Registration to Working with Vulnerable People – NDIS endorsed
