An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Therapy Team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in elective and trauma orthopaedic rehabilitation and will actively seek opportunities to support the development of the service. The trust is committed to the professional development of staff, with clinical supervision and peer development being a core element of this role. The provision of clinical education for students from surrounding universities will be expected.
The Orthopaedic Physiotherapist will be a key role across a seven-day service, with opportunities to work with in-patients, community outreach, and outpatients. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and motivated, with an emphasis on clinical, communication, organisational, and time management skills, who will support the driving force to change and innovate service development within our Orthopaedic Therapy service.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Ormskirk Hospital; however, there will be opportunities to work within our multi-specialty areas.
