Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer | Digital Transformation | 1 day per week into Cardiff | £50,000 + benefits

Method Resourcing have partnered exclusively with a fantastic global organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer into a global team delivering truly innovative technology.

The role: You will be working in a newly-formed talented Agile team acting a senior member of the team overseeing an offshore software engineering team on the development of replacing a huge Legacy application (Oracle) as my client looks to migrate all of their global data into modern microservice development.

The key skills that they are looking for:

• Extensive systems development knowledge with experience in web application and database development in a range of technologies.
• Strong commercial experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of ColdFusion (desirable).
• The ability to gain a deep understanding of business requirements and systems organisation-wide and of the implications of decisions made within IT Development.
• Willing and able to assume end-to-end ownership of technical solutions.
