Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA and Apps DBA
Location: Onsite – Doha, Qatar
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Language Requirement: English
Visa Sponsorship: Not Available – Candidate must already have a valid Qatar Residency Permit (RP)
Job Description:
This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Applications (Apps DBA), Oracle Cloud services, Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer (DRCC), backup strategies, disaster recovery, and management of Oracle engineered systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle environments to ensure high availability, performance, and business continuity across both on-premises and DRCC infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (Apps DBA).
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Oversee Oracle Cloud and DRCC environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Oracle engineered systems including Exadata, Exalogic, PCA, ZDLRA, and Tape Libraries.
- Perform patches, upgrades, and cloning of Oracle environments.
- Optimize database performance and ensure system security and integrity.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams for seamless operations.
