Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud DevOps expert? Do you have expertise in backup, restore, and recovery? If so, we invite you to join our growing Cloud DevOps team.

Your responsibilities will include automating and improving the Oracle Cloud Service - Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service, solving complex infrastructure problems, and building automation to prevent issues.

Our team manages the Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service, ensuring industry-leading data protection for our customers. We work across various technologies to deliver seamless cloud recovery services and continuously develop automation for complex workflows.

This role offers continuous learning and involves delivering critical services that our customers depend on.

Technical Expertise (must have two or more areas):

1. Terraform, Infrastructure as Code
2. Oracle Database
3. RMAN
4. Exadata

Additional Desired Skills:

1. Experience managing production cloud services (SRE background)
2. Experience in releasing and maintaining cloud services
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Production experience with systems or database environments
5. Proficiency with systems programming languages such as Python, Perl, Unix Shell, or database languages like SQL, PL/SQL

This position requires working on an out-of-hours on-call rota; otherwise, it is a Monday to Friday role.
