Job description
Overview

Lead major cloud financials transformations for clients within the UK, including critical government projects requiring SC clearance. You will: lead from day one, own Oracle Cloud Financials modules end-to-end (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Procurement, Assets, Tax), design and configure systems, and influence national digital transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Anchor Proof-of-Concepts: Design and validate POCs that showcase system power and drive business value.
  • Map & Transform Processes: Conduct gap analysis, process redesign, data integration, migration strategy, and test lifecycle planning.
  • Train, Support & Empower: Design training materials, host workshops, guide end-users, and transfer knowledge effectively.
  • Be the Functional Bridge: Drive requirements gathering, produce functional specs, manage change requests, and maintain Oracle's quarterly release cadence.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud Instance for Client Proof of Concept; Demonstrate Oracle Cloud Functionality; Oversee requirements definition, design and gap analysis; Process mapping/redesign; Oversee training preparation and delivery; Lead application configuration.
  • Drive functional support of technical activities such as data migration and integration; lead solution validation workshops; oversee testing support, training delivery, post go-live support and other related aspects of functional implementation advice and guidance.
  • Oracle Cloud (SaaS): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement (including Self Service), Assets and Expenses.
  • Oracle Cloud Reporting: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Studio and SmartView.
  • Oracle Guided Learning experience (Desirable).
  • Work with and support other implementation consultants as part of a project team; identify and document business requirements and configuration using the Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodology; create high-quality functional specification documentation for business process and integrations.
  • Support the client through full testing lifecycles and Go Live, including test script creation; ensure full Knowledge Transfer to clients/support team including key user training; manage change requests through development and testing lifecycle to project management standards and scope.
  • Liaise with Oracle for client SR management; ensure clients are updated with latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases; manage on-time project delivery and business expectations; assist with risk and change management on projects; advise clients on options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems; communicate project deliverables effectively; complete tasks efficiently and timely; provide status and issue reports regularly to the project manager/client.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • UK residency for at least 3 years; opening doors to classified public-sector work with tangible societal impact.
  • SC-Capable & Committed: Eligible for security clearance and experienced working in sensitive/regulatory environments.
  • Leading Oracle Cloud Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Tax, Procurements, Assets and more; experience in OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, and SmartView.
  • Strong analytical, requirements gathering, process mapping, and change management skills; ability to drive workshops and validate solutions with clients.
  • Experience with data migration, integration, testing, training delivery, and post go-live support within Oracle Cloud ERP environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to convey complex concepts and manage expectations.
