Role Overview

Hybrid/Remote Role with Travel to Other Sites - Permanent - Attractive Salary

Job Purpose

The Senior or Principal - Systems Engineer will be responsible for systems requirements and acceptance activities within an international Defence Systems Company. The role involves supporting system delivery, requirements management, and system acceptance processes, with some travel for technical reviews and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support senior management in requirements and acceptance for systems across projects.
2. Assist in systems certification and develop interface requirements management processes.
3. Lead management of systems interface control and verify system interfaces.
4. Participate in systems integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in requirements and interface management.
• Experience with systems integration, verification, validation, and acceptance.
• Background working on complex, safety-critical systems.
• Knowledge of systems requirements management tools (e.g., DOORs).
• Understanding of software systems and control interfaces.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science, or equivalent experience.
• For Principal level, Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in Defence, Marine, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, or Safety Critical Systems is advantageous.
