Hybrid/Remote Role with Travel to Other Sites - Permanent - Attractive

Job Purpose: Systems, Requirements & Acceptance

A Senior or Principal – Systems Engineer is required for an international Defence Systems Company that is expanding their team. Hybrid, remote, and flexible working arrangements are available, with some travel to other sites for technical reviews and meetings.

Salary and seniority will depend on skills and experience.

The Senior or Principal – Systems Engineer will be part of the systems delivery team, performing systems engineering, requirements, and acceptance activities to support the company's strategy.

This role involves supporting requirements management, systems certification, interface control, and validation activities across projects.

The Senior or Principal – Systems Engineer will lead interface control processes and support system validation efforts.

Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Good systems engineering and lifecycle experience.
• Requirements and interface management experience.
• Experience with systems integration, verification, validation, and acceptance.
• Experience working on complex, safety-critical systems.
• Knowledge of systems requirements management tools (e.g., DOORs).
• Understanding of software-based systems and control interfaces.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science, or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it for Principal level candidates.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in defence, marine, nuclear, oil & gas, or safety-critical systems is advantageous.
