You will be instrumental in improving understanding and sustainable management of soils and land use change impacts for projects including energy, infrastructure, large-scale developments, and masterplanning. We promote technical excellence, digital innovation, and a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in delivering major multidisciplinary projects.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Leading coordination and delivery of soil and land use assessments for Environmental Impact Assessments.

  9. Developing clear reports and explaining outcomes to non-technical audiences.
  10. Managing projects' technical, quality, commercial, and safety performance.

  • Knowledge of soil surveying and Agricultural Land Classification.
  • Member of the British Society of Soil Science, with chartership or working towards it.
  • Understanding of EIA and planning processes related to soils and land use.
  • Strong report writing, communication, and review skills.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary projects, project management, and technical expertise.
  • Consulting and negotiating skills with authorities and stakeholders.
  • Commercial skills including forecasting, project management, and quality control.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of soil-related carbon accounting.
