We are expanding our Space Imaging portfolio to develop Front End Electronics (FEE) systems for space applications, which include CMOS detectors, FEE, FPGA (VHDL), and Microprocessors, designed for high reliability over long missions.
We seek a Principal FPGA Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, possessing deep knowledge of device operation and practical FPGA coding skills, mainly using VHDL with Microchip Libero and Xilinx Vivado.
The role involves providing technical support for bids and proposals, including reviewing proposals, trade-off analyses, and effort estimates.
Requirements include:
You will oversee end-to-end FPGA development, working closely with Embedded Software, Electronics, and Systems Engineers to meet project goals.
Preferred skills include experience in spaceflight/aerospace/defense design, ECSS standards, high-speed transceivers, radiation-hardened FPGA techniques, SpaceWire, RMAP/CCSDS protocols, image processing, and memory interfaces.
