We seek a Principal FPGA Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, possessing deep knowledge of device operation and practical FPGA coding skills, mainly using VHDL with Microchip Libero and Xilinx Vivado.

The role involves providing technical support for bids and proposals, including reviewing proposals, trade-off analyses, and effort estimates.

Requirements include:

  • Functional verification and timing analysis skills
  • Ability to generate accurate estimates and documentation
  • Experience with electronic test equipment

You will oversee end-to-end FPGA development, working closely with Embedded Software, Electronics, and Systems Engineers to meet project goals.

Preferred skills include experience in spaceflight/aerospace/defense design, ECSS standards, high-speed transceivers, radiation-hardened FPGA techniques, SpaceWire, RMAP/CCSDS protocols, image processing, and memory interfaces.

Benefits include excellent transport links, generous leave, on-site parking, electric car schemes, pension contributions, health plans, cycle schemes, life assurance, discounts, sports facilities, and flexible working hours.

We support professional development through memberships, training, and mentorship, fostering a friendly and ethical company culture.
