About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Bristol office.

It's an exciting time to join our Bristol team, known for delivering outstanding design on built environment projects across Bristol, the Southwest, and beyond. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants in a collaborative, knowledgeable, and high-performing environment.

Bristol is a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage and ambitious plans for growth and becoming carbon-neutral. Our Bristol office is the second-largest, with over MEP engineers and expanding specialist disciplines.

As a Senior or Principal Engineer, you will support and deliver designs for various project types and sizes, working to high standards for our clients while developing a team of engaged professionals.

You can expect to:

• Manage the technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead the development of strategic concepts ensuring compliance with standards.
• Engage with stakeholders, attend meetings, and communicate project briefs.
• Assist with monitoring project budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior team members, including apprentices and graduates.

About you

You should have:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar, with a track record on complex projects.
• Experience with technical delivery processes and software like BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
• Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design or consultancy role.
• Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
• Experience supporting others' development.
