Job description

Our client, a leading Design & Build contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineers to support ongoing non-infrastructure (non-infra) projects across clean and wastewater treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver civil design for non-infra water and wastewater projects, including treatment works, pumping stations, and CSOs
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as MEICA, process, and structural
• Engage with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure practical design delivery
• Provide input across feasibility, outline, and detailed design stages

Job Requirements:

• Strong background in the UK water sector, particularly AMP frameworks
• Proven experience in non-infra projects, especially treatment works
• Proficiency in civil design principles and relevant software, such as Civil 3D and MicroDrainage
• Comfortable working in a Design & Build environment with fast-paced delivery
• Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week in Warrington, Preston, or Leeds
