Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Optometrist for a part-time maternity cover based at the Eye Treatment Centre, Whipps Cross University Hospital. The role includes work in low vision, paediatric services and extended ophthalmology clinics including Medical Retina Injection sessions.

The post-holder will join a multidisciplinary Optometry and Ophthalmology team, with teaching duties and opportunities to develop through audits, research and leadership training.

Qualifications

• Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.

Responsibilities

• Provide ophthalmology services including low vision and paediatric care.
• Participate in extended role clinics (Medical Retina Injection) and audits.
