Job Description:

External Description: Senior Operations Support Engineer. Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team undertakes a variety of jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Play a lead role in projects focused on enhancing Liberty IT's office environments, desktop, device hardware and software, and digital communications for various meeting experiences.
  2. Facilitate project delivery, ensure team members own, score, and deliver tasks or stories, and communicate progress regularly.
  3. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives to meet Liberty IT's sustainability targets.
  4. Mentor and guide junior team members.
  5. Partner with employees and team members to maximize business value.
  6. Support continuous improvement practices and ensure employee safety and security standards.
  7. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards.
  8. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and office environment best practices.
  9. Assess new solutions, adopt data-driven approaches, and share learnings through internal and external channels.
Technology Support Responsibilities:

Lead in providing technical support for software, hardware, AV, and office environments, including setup, maintenance, issue resolution, and documentation.

Manage digital communications and AV tools for on-site, hybrid, and remote events, ensuring proactive maintenance and updates.

Support office environment management, including space management, intra-office moves, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum five years' experience in supporting large-scale office environments with hardware, software, and AV technologies.
  • Experience in delivering office environment projects and supporting agile practices.
  • Strong partnership skills with end-users, and current industry certifications.
Desired Criteria:
  • Participation in knowledge sharing activities.
  • Customer-centric solution development experience.
