About The Role

As a Senior Operations Manager for sunday, your goal will be to help the UK team deliver the best experience to the hospitality industry. Your scope includes creating restaurant accounts, collecting relevant information, providing tailor-made QR codes, training restaurant staff, and supporting their adoption of our solution. You will work with a large operational system involving thousands of restaurants, making complex processes seem simple.

You will report to the Head of Operations UK, collaborate with the US & EU Operations and Sales teams, and visit restaurants to understand their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless restaurant operations through effective delivery of our product.
  • Work with Key Accounts to drive GTV & Net Revenue and identify rollout opportunities.
  • Upsell sunday product suite to existing customers.
  • Lead frictionless onboarding, reducing lead time from signed to active, increasing adoption.
  • Increase restaurant penetration by creative engagement strategies.
  • Maintain high restaurant retention through excellent customer service.
  • Identify operational issues via data analysis and collaborate with analytics teams.
  • Report product gaps and align business needs with the UK hospitality industry.
  • Solve operational issues and implement global process improvements.
  • Continuously improve team and process efficiency.

About You

  • Based in the UK.
  • At least 4 years experience in customer success, account management, or operations within startups, food, hospitality, or professional services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome immediate roadblocks.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data from spreadsheets, CRMs, and trackers.
  • Owner & growth mindset.
  • Passion for foodtech and building solutions.
  • Structured, reliable, detail-oriented, and effective communicator.
