Job Description

We're hiring a Senior Operations Manager role for a food start-up business based in London, with hybrid working.

This is a newly created role that will be tasked with scaling company operations, launching new sites, building teams, and developing processes & systems.

This role will oversee the end-to-end operations of QSR outlets, food trucks, and festival activations. Your leadership will ensure smooth day-to-day execution while implementing strategies that improve performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

You will play a key role in developing operational processes, scaling the footprint, and fostering a high-performance culture across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize operations across QSR outlets, food trucks, and festival activations.
  • Take the lead on scaling operations by opening new sites, building teams and developing systems and processes
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to enhance service delivery, quality control, and customer experience.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and supply chain logistics to drive profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and frontline staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to support business growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to improve operations.
  • Develop and execute expansion strategies, including new site launches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and festival organizers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role within the food industry, QSR, or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-site operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
  • A deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and cost control.
  • Experience scaling operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Passion for food and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Salary up to £75,000, plus benefits and loads of opportunity to develop.
