Job description

Senior Operations Manager

Department: Operations

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: London, UK

Compensation: £45,000 - £60,000 / year

Description

We're looking for an Operations & Stinter Acquisition Manager to lead the operational success of our Workforce function, ensuring both our partners and Stinters receive an exceptional experience every day. You\'ll lead the team responsible for keeping sites well supplied, resolving operational issues, and continuously improving service quality as we scale. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Commercial, Screening, Live Operations, Customer Support and Marketing to ensure our operational engine runs smoothly.

This isn\'t just about managing day-to-day operations. You\'ll play a key role in shaping how the function evolves, building scalable processes, introducing automation, improving reporting and using data to make better decisions. You\'ll lead a growing team, identify opportunities to improve how we acquire, screen and retain Stinters, and help design the systems, tools and ways of working that will support the next stage of Stint\'s growth.

We\'re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, building high-performing teams and creating structure in fast-moving environments. You\'ll be analytical, commercially minded and naturally curious, using data to identify opportunities, challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement across the Workforce function.

We\'re particularly excited to meet someone who embraces AI, automation and technology as tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work and enable teams to focus on higher-value problems. As Stint continues to scale, you\'ll play a central role in building an Operations function that is smarter, more efficient and ready for the future.

We are an office-first, collaborative team, and this role is based in Camden.

What you will be doing:

You\'ll lead the operational success of a portfolio of partners, ensuring both our partners and Stinters receive an exceptional experience every day. You\'ll manage the team responsible for delivering day-to-day operations while building the processes, systems and reporting that enable the function to scale. Working closely with Commercial, Screening, Live Operations, Customer Support and Marketing, you\'ll use data to identify opportunities, improve performance and continually raise the quality of our service.

  • Lead and develop the Operations team responsible for supporting our partners and Stinters.
  • Ensure partner sites are consistently supplied with the right Stinters by overseeing workforce supply and operational performance.
  • Build scalable operational processes, systems and ways of working as Stint continues to grow.
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends, forecast risks and drive operational improvements.
  • Improve Stinter acquisition and screening performance through better reporting, forecasting and process optimisation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Screening, Live Operations, Customer Support and Marketing to deliver a seamless service.
  • Drive automation and AI adoption to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Own strategic operational projects that improve partner satisfaction, Stinter experience and business performance.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and implement long-term solutions that prevent them from happening again.
  • Help shape the future of the Workforce function by building a high-performing team and continually raising operational standards.
What we\'re looking for:

We\'re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, building high-performing teams and creating scalable processes. You\'ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be naturally analytical and use data to make better decisions and continuously improve how we operate. You\'ll ideally have:

  • Experience leading Operations, Workforce Planning, Supply, Customer Success or a similar operational function.
  • Previous people management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence using Excel and interpreting data to inform decisions.
  • Experience designing or improving operational processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • A high level of ownership, attention to detail and accountability.
  • Commercial judgement and confidence making decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Curiosity about AI, automation and technology, with an interest in using them to improve operational efficiency.
What we can offer you
  • Private medical insurance
  • A social, friendly and welcoming team based in the heart of Camden
  • Office gym membership
  • Ownership shares in a well-funded, growing start-up
  • Dog friendly office!
  • Free office fruit and snacks
