Altrad are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the regional mechanical portfolio from Selby. You will be accountable for operational performance, delivering on time within budget while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

The role includes leading outages, coordinating resources, and driving continuous improvement across contracts. You will report to the Regional General Manager, manage client relationships, drive opportunities for additional services and ensure robust governance

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in industrial/power generation.
• Strong project management skills for complex timelines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Sound safety and risk management knowledge in outage environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards/regulations.
• NEBOSH and ECITB qualifications desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an organisation invested in HSE with exemplary safety standards across contracts.
• Ensure work scope, programme quality and budget are set and managed.
• Support GM in securing new business opportunities and extensions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for additional service lines and outages.
• Ensure employees/subcontractors are effectively managed.
• Lead client performance reviews and ensure contractual obligations.
• Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
• Govern safety, quality, planning, resource management and reporting systems.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure reporting controls are in place for contracts.
• Create a high-performance culture with collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee recruitment, appraisal and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain strong working relationships with staff and client representatives.
• Present information to management and clients both orally and in writing.
