Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role pivotal in ensuring seamless onboarding of portfolio managers and their trading strategies within the organization. The role requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding or interest in trading and hedge fund environments. Broader responsibilities across the middle office are also involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Facilitate trading account establishment and ensure alignment with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Ensure proper documentation and configuration of trading systems.
• Develop and maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding queries and provide stakeholder updates.
• Liaise with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant software; experience with OMS/EMS systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
