Job Description:

A market-leading, proprietary trading firm is looking to hire a London-based senior operations analyst.

The successful candidate will sit between the London head of operations and analysts, taking a lead role in the firm’s flagship European strategy. While there are no formal management responsibilities, the hire will oversee juniors and serve as the main contact for the investment team (leading PMs/Traders for the flagship strategy). Many back-office and operations tasks are outsourced, so the role involves highly analytical work and oversight, including managing relationships with external service providers.

Project work is a significant aspect of the role. The candidate will have opportunities to learn VBA, SQL, and Python to contribute to major buildout initiatives. At minimum, the candidate will project manage juniors on existing programs.

Applicants should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund, investment banking, or proprietary trading operations. Strong academic background and technical skills are essential.

The role offers a salary between £80,000 and £120,000, with a 50% bonus potential for high performers. The firm will fully subsidize qualifications such as IMC, CFA, CIMA, and CQF. Additionally, breakfast, lunch, and gym membership are provided.
