Job Description:

A high performing, award-winning, global hedge fund is hiring a senior operations analyst based in Bristol.

As the most senior analyst on the team, the hire will lead BAU for the firm’s main strategy. The role involves being the main point of contact for the investment team, including industry-leading PMs and traders. Since most back-office and operations tasks are outsourced, the role is highly analytical and focused on oversight of externally produced work. The hire will manage relationships with multiple external service providers.

Project work is prominent, and the hire will have opportunities to learn VBA, SQL, and Python to contribute to major buildout initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will project manage junior staff on existing projects.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund, investment banking, or proprietary trading operations. Strong academic background and technical skills are essential.

The role offers a salary range of £85,000 to £115,000, with a potential 50% bonus for top performers. The firm will fully subsidize industry qualifications, and amenities such as breakfast, lunch, and gym membership are provided.
