Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will serve as an SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. Since many tasks are outsourced, the role emphasizes analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work focused on infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The candidate will act as a first point of contact for the European equities business, liaising with multiple Prime Brokers.

The firm promotes a strong progression culture. The initial plan is for the hire to develop into an ‘Operations Manager’ role. Other team members have advanced into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, and change management, offering various future progression opportunities. Top performers may also have opportunities to transfer internally to international offices.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and robust technical skills.
