Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be a SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks for the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, a core focus will be on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work (primarily focused on infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals). The hire will act as a first point of contact for multiple Prime Brokers (PBs) for the European equities business.

The firm values progression, and while the initial focus is on development into an ‘Operations Manager’, other career paths such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, and change roles are available. There is also potential for internal transfer to international offices for top performers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and robust tech skills.

The role offers a salary ranging from £80k to £110k, with high-performing employees earning significant bonuses.
