Job description

A global law firm are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the firm and it’s an exciting time to join the organisation as they continue to grow in both the UK and Europe.

This role will suit a detail-orientated and proactive individual collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, delivering financial analysis, budget monitoring and tracking financial reporting, including WIP management.

Based in the heart of London in brand new offices, on a hybrid basis. The business values their culture and cohesiveness and work hard to ensure there are plenty of opportunities to progress.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Work closely with partners and stakeholders to provide financial insights and reporting.
  2. Manage budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to optimise profitability whilst providing accurate data for budget development.
  3. Provide insights and analysis to assist with strategic financial and operational decision making.
  4. Identify and implement process improvements, identifying inefficiencies and implementing strategies for better delivery.
  5. Prepare reports and templates to analyse financial metrics.

What we’re looking for:

  1. University degree required (open to sectors).
  2. 2-5 years’ experience in commercial finance within the legal sector.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  4. Experience in financial planning, reporting, fee monitoring and analysis.
  5. Ideally have exposure to pricing models and legal fee structures and WIP.
