Job Details

  • Reporting to the Risk Director, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our organisation is prepared for, and can effectively respond to, business disruptions - coordinating incident responses, guiding senior stakeholders, and embedding lessons learned.
  • Lead the design and rollout of our Operational Resilience Framework, including impact tolerances and scenario testing.
  • Own our enterprise-wide BCP strategy and ensure it aligns with resilience goals.
  • Oversee the creation, testing, and improvement of Business Continuity Plans across key functions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed resilience into our culture.
  • Ensure we meet UK and GIB regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA PS21/3).

Skills we would love you to have

  • Extensive experience in Operational Resilience or Risk Management within financial services (banking or insurance preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks for operational resilience.
  • Proven experience building and embedding Operational Resilience and BCP frameworks.
  • Skilled in third-party due diligence and supplier risk management.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in cyber resilience or IT disaster recovery.
  • Familiarity with global standards such as ISO 22301, NIST, or DORA.
  • Experience using Decision Focus.
