Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is strengthening its Cyber and Information Resilience and Operational Resilience capabilities within a new directorate focused on secure and resilient regulation across the FCA and PSR. The role supports embedding the framework by mapping dependencies and improving incident response and recovery readiness, with a strong emphasis on resilience by design.

Based in London, Leeds or Edinburgh, the position offers flexible working with a hybrid pattern.

Qualifications

• The team is responsible for enhancing the FCA’s operational resilience and business continuity capabilities.
• Supports embedding the FCA’s Operational Resilience Framework by assessing Important Business Services, mapping dependencies, identifying vulnerabilities, validating impact tolerances and remediation activities.
• Promotes an “Operational Resilience by Design” approach to reduce disruption and minimise potential harm to consumers and markets.

Responsibilities

• Embed the FCA’s Operational Resilience Framework and assess Important Business Services across the organisation.
• Map dependencies, identify vulnerabilities and validate impact tolerances.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve resilience and continuity plans; work with Subject Matter Experts across teams.
