Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Operational Lead for the Pembridge Specialist Palliative Care Service in a substantive Band 8a role in London. The post requires providing effective operational leadership across outpatient, day and wellbeing, psychological and social support, bereavement and administrative services.

You will lead service development, manage budgets and workforce planning, ensure governance and continuous improvement, and work with partners

Responsibilities

• Provide effective operational leadership across outpatient, day and wellbeing, psychological and social support, bereavement, administrative and support services.
• Manage service activity, capacity and demand, including waiting times, access and performance.
• Lead service development, redesign and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Manage delegated budgets and support workforce planning, recruitment and performance management.
• Support clinical governance, including risk management and responding to feedback.
• Use performance information and audits to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, primary care, authorities and partners to coordinate pathways of care.
• Champion compassionate, inclusive and person-centred services.
