Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage procurement for EMCOR UK on a major client multi-site contract.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Director, Heads of Projects Procurement, Category Leads, and other Buyers to ensure effective supply chain solutions.
• Embed into the client site team to oversee all procurement activities on the contract.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, including supplier evaluation, performance measurement, and contract review.
• Negotiate cost savings and ensure value for money.
• Conduct risk-based supplier tendering and selection processes.
• Identify and present innovation opportunities to increase revenue and margins.
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture within the supply chain.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
• Build relationships with specialist suppliers to support growth and meet business needs.
• Travel across the UK for site visits, audits, meetings, and training as needed.

Person Specification

• Knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and supply chain methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing internal customer relationships.
• Expert negotiation skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience in sustainable procurement and delivering cost savings.
• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver service excellence.
• Strong presentation, influencing, and analytical skills.
• MCIPS qualification preferred or working towards it.
• Valid full driving license.
• Extensive FM procurement experience and a passion for procurement and supply chain management.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk management.
