Are you ready to take the lead in a hands-on technical role inspecting, testing and repairing subsea survey equipment? We are seeking a Senior Onshore Survey Technician to join the team in Westhill - if you're passionate about precision, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a background in electronics we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing: From electrical safety testing and calibrating high-spec equipment to mentoring other workshop technicians, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our equipment meets the highest industry standards before it reaches our international clients.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out inspection, test and repair activities on subsea survey equipment and tooling packages
  • Ensuring all equipment is fully functional, labelled, documented and professionally presented for hire
  • Using NetSuite to accurately complete work orders and customer records
  • Assessing and off-hiring assets upon return, documenting any faults or damage
  • Leading by example and supporting workshop technicians and trainees by sharing valuable knowledge and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Offering technical know-how to be able to support customers and sales staff as required

What experience you'll bring:

  • Qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Previous experience in a Technician or Engineering role responsible for repair, maintenance and testing of electronic equipment - preferably in a subsea environment
  • Extensive knowledge of subsea equipment
