Job summary

Ofcom is recruiting for a Senior Associate in the Online Safety Group in Manchester. The role is fixed term for 12 months, focusing on supervising key online services and driving compliance delivery under the Online Safety Act 2023.

The successful candidate will lead engagement with services, build expert knowledge in online safety measures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic priorities while balancing proportionality and safeguarding considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex policy compliance or regulatory issues.
• Ability to produce clear, concise communications for internal and external use.
• Ability to manage multiple services and supervise junior and cross-functional colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with online services.
• Develop supervision strategies and report progress to the team.
• Drive programme management for compliance delivery and OKRs.
• Ensure clear updates across the Online Safety Group when requested.
