Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Oncology team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be NMC registered and bring post‑registration experience; teaching/assessment and management qualifications are highly valued.

You will lead by example, mentor junior colleagues, and apply your clinical skills with empathy to meet patient needs. You’ll contribute to scheduling, recruitment, induction and training while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Qualifications

• As a Senior Staff Nurse, you are NMC registered with relevant qualifications and post-registration experience.
• Ideally you hold teaching/assessment and management qualifications.

As a Senior StaffNurse at our Guildford Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities.
