MATCHTECH GROUP is seeking a Senior Overhead Line Engineer to support major electricity transmission and distribution projects across Scotland. Based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Perth, you will contribute to network reinforcement schemes and renewable energy connections, guiding projects from concept to delivery in a Net Zero context.

You will lead TP141 OHL design activities, develop PLS-CADD models, perform sag-tension and other analyses, and provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary

Competenze

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in the design and delivery of overhead transmission line projects up to 400kV and above.
• Strong knowledge of TP141 OHL design principles, including structure spotting, route optimisation, conductor selection and clearance assessments.

Mansioni

• Lead and support overhead line engineering and design activities across projects ranging from 11kV to 400kV and above.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to engineers within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Undertake TP141 OHL design activities, including route development, structure spotting, clearance assessments, structure loading and line optimisation studies.
