Job description

Senior Officer (Pharmacy, Optometry and Dental)

The post holder is a key member of the team, with the overarching goal to enable, promote, and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve and support various projects, services, and initiatives within the POD team.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Reporting and analyzing information to support delivery and effective information management.
  2. Supporting the implementation of projects, services, and initiatives through timely information analysis and administrative support.
  3. Participating in internal and external working groups to provide advice and maintain data collection systems.
  4. Providing project leads with statistical and data analysis reports.
  5. Responding to queries from contractors and NHSE.
  6. Supporting processes related to access, resilience, contractual challenges, and change management.
  7. Maintaining and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the team.
  8. Contributing to the production of service specifications, pilot documents, and reports for senior review.
  9. Collaborating effectively with colleagues in the Collaborative Commissioning Hub.
