Job Overview
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a therapies-led respiratory service providing group exercise sessions and holistic health education to aid patients with long-term lung conditions self-manage their condition. These are delivered within hospital and leisure centre settings alongside a dedicated Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work cooperatively as part of this friendly and proactive multi-disciplinary team to assist with carrying out Specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and follow-up on interventions, in addition to the provision of safe and evidenced-based exercise prescription within the class setting. This is a part-time post of 13 hours per week. The successful applicant will need to be able to work a full day on Thursdays in Bangor/Holyhead, with allocation of remaining hours to be discussed at interview.
The successful applicant will be supported with training and development opportunities, alongside competency completion and ongoing support from existing experienced staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
