Job description

We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Stroke Rehabilitation Team within Dudley Rehabilitation Service.

Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred therapy and collaborates closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT) to continually enhance our service. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while contributing to service development.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will undertake key responsibilities, including the supervision and development of junior staff and students, as well as leading on aspects of training and service improvement initiatives.

To work as part of the Community Stroke Rehabilitation Pathway in Dudley Rehabilitation Service; providing effective and efficient Occupational Therapy for a caseload of patients who have sustained a Stroke.

Duties will include assessment, therapy (both group and/or individual as appropriate), planning therapy programs, self-management advice and discharge of patients, as well as appropriate delegation of work to assistants and students. Clinical work will be carried out both in patient's place of residence and clinic settings.
